The programme has two components:
- "Water Supply and Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM)" - rehabilitation/ construction of water points and support for further institutional reforms (central level) and their implementation at regional level.
- "Promotion of Hygiene and Sanitation" - increasing the coverage of households, public and schools latrines; additional support for strengthening the institutional capacity of the central level actors and that of the decentralised level actors.
