For our head office in Bad Homburg we are currently seeking a

 

Civil engineer (water supply and/or wastewater management) m/f for international consulting projects

 

Your tasks:

• Preparation and supervision of engineering tasks, such as designs, feasibility studies and tender documents
• Support to operational improvement programmes, e.g. energy efficiency, water loss and networt management
• Active business development and proposal preparation
• Support and quality assurance of projects abroad

You will mainly be based at our head office in Bad Homburg with regular short-term assigments and visits abroad.

 

Your profile:

• A university degree (i.e. Dipl.-Ing. / BSc. / MSc. / BEng.) with specialisation in water and / or sanitary engineering
• Around 10 years of professional experience in the water / wastewater sector in international development cooperation / projects funded by international donor organisations
• Excellent German and English skills preferably good knowledge in French
• Openness for short-term missions and visits abroad
• Business development experience with international donors
• Good know-how in business economics and management techniques
• Good communication and reporting skills and ability to work in a team
